Everyone is always looking for great caterers at affordable prices. Two weeks ago, The Daily Bread Food Bank officially launched their catering division, “The Catering Kitchen”, with a night of delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine and music. I wasn’t sure what to expect when Stella Yu (www.FoodJunkieChronicles.com) and I first arrived… However, I soon became more and more impressed and happy to be a part of this amazing event. Not only was the food delicious offering guests great flavour pairings, I discovered that all the revenue that comes into The Catering Kitchen is invested right back into The Daily Bread Food Bank.
Now, I know you might be thinking, “a food bank catering my party? Hmmmmm…” Not gonna lie – it crossed my mind too… but I was proven wrong. The food, the execution and the organization of this event were fabulous. As a result, I will be using them for my next event! I’m also telling as many people as possible about this great new way to help this great charity continue to fight hunger and to feel good about doing something GOOD. Why wouldn’t you?
