It may be Pride month now but who says we can’t keep the queer celebrations going all year round? Especially when it’s something as exciting and entertaining as a drag brunch in Toronto. And if you haven’t been to an Asian drag brunch before, then this is your chance. Dim sum + Asian drag queens? Sign me up!
Queens of Dim Sum Drag for Brunch in Toronto
The fun event is being hosted at the Sky Dragon Chinese restaurant at 280 Spadina Avenue. The brunch is set to be a blend of music, dance and different live performances. Not to mention, some delicious dim sum. The restaurant had hosted the first ever edition on May 28, following which it saw love and support from fans. This has prompted them to hold a second one, this time on July 24.
The previous performances had included the work of Sofonda (who we just saw ride a float with Cardi B at LA WeHo Pride) and Aurora Matrix. And if it’s anything like last time, then I’m sure it will be just as electrifying. The new line-up hasn’t been announced yet, along with the ticket prices.
