LEGO built McLaren at the F1 Exhibition in Toronto
The Toronto debut is the second public appearance of the LEGO brick-built McLaren F1 race car. The one-of-a-kind creation is the result of putting together 175,000 LEGO bricks. Another fun fact? The LEGO team of designers and builders spent 2,000 hours on the project, along with some help from the McLaren F1 race team.
It’s been designed to mimic the real McLaren race car’s technical design features. A V6-cylinder engine and exposed internal mechanics are all part of what visitors can see when they take a look at the car.
