The latest Italian bistro that is taking Toronto by storm is the sister restaurant to Lil’ Baci called Lil’ Baci Taverna. A couple of weeks ago, they invited some Toronto food lovers to try out the new menu – and when I say menu, I mean almost the entire menu. Starting with fresh cocktails and some lovely homemade crostini – I will add that the Lil’ Baci bread is one that is not easily forgotten – the meal consisted of over 20 menu items…. Yes 20. The food was excellent but I will say that I thought it was a tad too much. That said, there were some highlights including a mortadella gnudi with mushrooms and mascarpone that has me pining to go back very soon.
Given the length of the meal, the length of the video is slightly longer than usual so I am writing slightly less. Watch and drool through these 20 menu items that will have you wanting to visit them very soon!
