When it comes to food halls and canteens, there is certainly no shortage of them in the city. And that’s always a delight, since it makes for the perfect opportunity to try out multiple restaurants all in one location. It is also a concept that’s been gaining traction over the years, with more opening up in the city. The newest night market in Toronto that is set to open is Superfresh, featuring specifically Asian eats.
Superfresh Night Market In Toronto
Asian restaurants and businesses in one place? Talk about exciting! It’s not just food, but you can also expect other attractions like live entertainment, a bodega and other ongoing events. Superfresh is the brain child of Trevor Lui of JoyBird Fried Chicken, James Lee of Annex Food Hall, Jae Pak and Dave Choi.
Now, let’s get into the list of vendors that are going to be present at the night market in Toronto. The lineup includes some of the most popular names in the GTA.

- Joybird will be offering servings of bao and fried chicken
- The Good Goods bakery has mochi muffins
- Big Beef Bowl provides Lanzhou-style noodle soup
- Auntie’s Supply grocery store features a selection of Asian snacks and ingredients
This is just the tip of the iceberg as the full list of vendors has yet to be released. The night market in Toronto is meant to be a celebration of all things Asia, bringing together culinary delights from different parts of the continent.
As for the market’s location, it will be opening at 384 Bloor Street. This previously used to be the destination of the Annex Food Hall. In fact, the name Superfresh itself, was inspired by the first 24-hour Korean grocery place that was at the Annex prior.
Superfresh is the latest food market to join the already thriving scene, alongside others like Street Eats Market, Chef’s Assembly Hall, Ossington Canteen, Bold Food Hub, Foodie Aisle and others. And we’re sure this isn’t going to be the last one!
