It was unfortunate to hear the news of The Citizen on King West closing down earlier this year after 7 years of killing the clubbing industry. But little did we know, the team behind The Citizen had a few tricks up their sleeve and just opened up the hottest new Greek inspired culinary experience; Myth!

The Inside scoop on King West’s newest addition: Myth Toronto
Needless to say, Myth was absolutely breathtaking! The owners want all guests to feel like they’re seaside in Mykonos and they completely understood the assignment! From the food, beautiful plating, flambés and stunning pottery and cocktails coming out of beautiful lanterns, I don’t think there’s anywhere in the city where you can experience this level of Greek culture!

The menu was crafted by co-executive chefs Sergio Abrunho and Tulio Lessa! Their bar menu features Greek wines and house cocktails made with Ouzo and Metaxa!
First Look:
The official opening day has not been announced by Myth, but they recently hosted a special event for friends and family. Here’s an inside look of all these Myth! (Heads up: it’s aesthetic af, so make sure to show up!)
Interior—Aesthetic AF!
Look at that detail!! From the vases on the shelf, to all things light wood! Your eye is drawn to so much décor, but it’s not overwhelming and fits the vibe perfectly! Our favourite part was the wooden beams and beautiful light fixtures across the high ceilings!
Exterior
European, Greek, Mykonos seaside vibes are all over their outdoor décor pieces! The outdoor still matches perfectly with the indoor, but they felt free to play with beautiful exotic hanging plants and flowers that we’ve never seen before!

Food & Drinks
A true Greek culinary dining experience! From deliciously seasoned fishes, lemony oysters and food on a bed of dry ice, Myth is definitely going to be one of the hottest spots in the city!
A drink served up in a beautiful dry-ice filled lanterns! Myth did not come to play, they’ll be serving all the Greek vibes in the coming months!
