Let me just start off by saying Daylight Savings Time totally screwed with my sleep cycle. Losing an hour of sleep is not the best thing to have happened to me this weekend, and boy is it ever showing. The bags under my eyes are definitely not Prada-esque; rather they’re blue, swollen and not the prettiest sight. So when I received this ARTDECO Perfect Teint Illuminator, I was intrigued – there is a Beauty God out there looking after me!

I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about this product. It’s soft-as-hell bristles are perfect for your under eye area, so you won’t get any harsh abrasions with this brush. Also, the formula is beyond perfect: it’s light and airy, which allows my skin to breathe through. I like to wear the illuminator under my makeup, so that a hint of a glow peeps through. I apply it under my eyes to brighten my face’s overall appearance. I also like to sweep it about my cheekbones to add definition. So far it’s been working. I don’t look as tired as I feel, which is always a plus! It reminds me of YSL’s Touche Eclat… without the insane price tag – which is great because now I don’t need to sell a kidney to get that Kardashian glow!
Since Toronto Fashion Week is just around the corner, you can be sure that this lifesaving product will be stocked in all my bags. Gotta look fresh for the tents!
