I hate wearing foundations, because: a) they smell bad; b) they leave me looking cakey; c) they’re too much effort… and the list goes on. The MAC Face and Body Foundation, on the other hand, does none of that nonsense and was actually sent to me from the beauty gods above.
What I absolutely love about this product is that it lets your skin breathe all while giving your face an incredibly dewy glow (not oily). It’s light, super blendable, and pretty much fool-proof. For the gals who don’t like the feel of heavy cream foundations, this one is super liquidy (comparable to a tinted moisturizer), and leaves your face with a natural finish – meaning your visage will actually look like skin and not a buildup of nasty foundation. You can layer up the product for a more heavier coverage for nights out on the town, or you can sheer the foundation up even more by adding it to your favourite moisturizer.

This baby is also water-based so you’re guaranteed your face will stay intact even on a rainy day! On days when I’m uber lazy, I just pop this on over my moisturizer and use my fingers to blend it into my skin. However, on days where I have to look half-decent, I use a dual-fibre makeup brush to buff the product into my skin, which gives me that almost-perfect airbrushed look. There’s just something magical about the formula because it really does work wonders on my skin. I also love that I’ve found a perfect shade for my in-between skin tone. The MAC Face and Body Foundation comes in 13 shades suited for all women. If you’re interested in this foundation, be sure to hit up your nearest MAC store and get ‘matched’; there is most definitely a foundation for you whatever your skin tone may be!
I’ve honestly gotten complements on how clean my skin looks, and I just say thanks, but all the credit has to go to my MAC Face and Body Foundation because without it my skin would look like a hot mess (without the hot part).
