Argan oils and dry oils have taken the beauty market by storm lately and everyone seems to be talking about them. I, on the other hand, have been extremely wary of them. Since I have combination to oily skin I’ve always been drawn to products that are clearly marked ‘oil-free’. Anyone with combination skin knows that oil is a big no-no for their pores. So in my head it only made sense that I stay away from oils in general – the thought of putting pure oil on my face seriously sent shivers down my spine. However, as the Argan oil trend continued to boom, I read more and more reviews that seemed to rave about these products. Women with all skin types were loving Argan oil.
So, I bit the bullet and tested this baby out. They don’t call these products ‘liquid elixirs’ for nothing; these oils are truly fantastic. Three drops was all I needed to hydrate my face and hair. (Oh yeah! My hair was in on the Argan oil lovin’.) The oil, surprisingly enough, wasn’t ‘oily’ nor did it clog up my pores (I even purchased an extra concealer because I was expecting my face to break out). Rather, after a week of using it I noticed a radiant glow to my skin – it was slightly majestic. My skin’s thirst had been quenched and boy did it look healthy! My hair also saw a change. I found myself not having to lather on so many products to control its frizz, which is a major bonus!

Since using Moroccanoil’s Argan Oil I’ve been impressed with the brand and can’t wait to try other products from their line. I’m thinking the next one might be their Moroccanoil Hair Treatment…
