NARS recently came out with a new nail polish formula – made without toluene, formaldehyde and DBPs – to ensure a safer product for your nails. This upgrade also features a brush that beats all other nail polish brushes (no offense), which allows an easier application. For me, one stroke was all it took for my nails to be painted… and streak-free, might I add.

Let’s talk colour, shall we. Now, it’s not the upgraded formula of the nail polish, nor is it their new brush which gives ladies that extra boost in confidence. It is, however, a particular shade of red that has my tootsies tingling with an air of confidence. The shade, Dovima, is by far the most beautiful shade of red I have ever seen. This red, my friends, is not your average rouge; it is indeed a tomato red, which works beautifully with my skin colour, somehow enhancing my growing summer tan. There’s just something about this red nail polish that instantly puts me in a happier mood. There’s a swing to my step and a not-so-creepy perma-grin on my face as soon as the polish hits my nails.
