Last week I had to say goodbye to my beloved Face and Body Foundation by MAC Cosmetics as I used the very last drop of its flawless product. I took a trip to The Bay as soon as I could to pick up another bottle of my favourite foundation, but as I headed to the MAC counter I overheard two ladies raving about the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and was slightly intrigued. So I stepped up to the NARS counter and asked the sales associate to match me with their tinted moisturizers. In one shot, the lady paired me with the colour St. Moritz – Medium 1. She was super impressed with the results and I was sold in an instant. I’ve never had a foundation or a tinted moisturizer match my skin so perfectly.

The finish was not matte, nor was it too dewy. Rather, it looked like my skin but a hell of a lot better and ridiculously #flawless! I’ve only used the tinted moisturizer for a week now, and I’m absolutely loving it. If I want a more sheer finish, I just pop a dollop of my face moisturizer in the tinted moisturizer, mix, apply, and blend on my skin. If I’m looking for a little more coverage, I add an extra layer of foundation to areas that require it. Easy, peasy.
The product is super lightweight, not cakey at all (even on days when I haven’t exfoliated), and the colour match is just on point! It does carry a heftier price tag, but it’s completely worth it. The packaging is beautiful and I love how it’s a squeeze bottle, which means that I can control exactly how much product I want.
