Bar Reyna is a lively, yet cozy restaurant in a timeless two-storey Victorian house in Yorkville. Where people come together to enjoy the good vibes, great food, and drinks that are ‘fit for a Queen.’ It offers a unique dining experience with table snacks and shareable dishes that allow you to try all their yummy food. With their own twist on Mediterranean snacks, their food is as unique as their stunning cocktails. Located in a 2-story victorian house with two patios and beautiful decor, Bar Reyna offers the perfect setting for special occasions, date night, or spending time with friends. We’re all royalty here!

The Eats

Bar Reyna is affectionately known as Yorkville’s cocktail and snack bar. The menu, by chef Ariel Coplan, is loaded with shareable meals, table snacks, and single bites, this place is perfect for sharing and trying a little of everything. The Mediterranean-inspired dishes are flavourful and delicious and offer something different in the Yorkville neighbourhood. You’ll be happy for the tapas-style food, since you’ll want to eat everything!

Fries 

Everyday is Fry-Day at Bar Reyna. They take their fries very seriously with their 4 different types of shoestring fries. Whether you’re feeling spicy, cheesy, or in the mood for something new, Bar Reyna does not disappoint with their extensive fry menu!

Lebanese Tacos  

Did someone say Taco Tuesday? These tacos are made with house-made flatbread, spiced chicken or falafel, garlic aioli, Lebanese pickles, Turkish salsa, and crispy onions. If that doesn’t get your mouth watering, I don’t know what will!

Brunch 

On weekends 11 am – 4 pm, Bar Reyna offers brunch! Try one of their yummy salads or their amazing shakshouka! With charred tomato, pepper, feta, egg, and onion sprouts on sourdough, this is a perfectly balanced breakfast that is easily paired with another brunch must-have, a mimosa.

The Drinks

Bar Reyna has an extensive cocktail list with creative plays on classics and their own original cocktails. The Mezcal Smokeshow is a huge hit with Altos Tequila, Mezcal, Cointreau, lime, cayenne-pineapple syrup, orange-juniper bitters, and a Hawaiian black salt rim. A must-have is  “Her Royal Highness,” which is filled with 3 ounces of vodka and rum mixed with saffron, cardamom, and almond syrup. This royal drink is served in a rose gold pineapple tumbler, the perfect drink for a Queen!

On Monday – Friday from 4pm – 6pm, Bar Reyna has Happy Hour featuring half-price Thalia Sauvignon Blanc and Montepulciano Lot 23! If you’re looking forward to the weekend, check out Make It Reign weekends at Bar Reyna with $5 pints and bar rail on Friday and Saturday nights from 11pm – 2am. 

The Looks

Bar Reyna is located in a timeless 2-story Victorian house with 2 patios. For those that enjoy patio season, their back patio is year-round! Comfortable and chic, their back patio is perfect for dates or nights with friends under their twinkly string lights. The interior is accented with copper and gold with jewel tones throughout. There are also ornate lights that dangle from the ceiling to give you that royal feel. Bar Reyna is the perfect combination of regal and cosy. The staff also make you feel right at home and you can see the inspiration from the Mediterranean regions in the little touches throughout the space.

The VIBE

Bar Reyna was designed as an energetic place where people could gather for good vibes, great food, and unique drinks to enjoy a special dining experience. This hotspot in a trendy neighbourhood is always packed, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation! The music volume is perfect, not too loud and not too quiet. This place is great for date nights, birthdays, girls nights out, or if you just want to indulge! While their patios are a bit smaller, Bar Reyna accommodates groups of all sizes. The upper level is a bit quieter, so it’s great for those that want a more intimate setting.All the staff are super friendly, knowledgable and attentive, that you might end up leaving with another friend! Also keep in mind that on Thursday’s they have a live jazz singer, Jessica Rose, at 8pm!

Bar Reyna is a cute, comfortable, and yet chic restaurant that feels like you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean. With dishes that are perfect to share, drinks that are fit for a Queen, and great staff, location, and atmosphere.
