These are the restaurants that made the 2024 Canada’s 100 Best list

It’s officially restaurant rewards season, and the celebrations are upon us. Canada’s 100 Best just released the list of its national honourees, and so many of the country’s best restaurants are located right here in the GTA. Toronto boasts a vibrant food scene, and we are so lucky to have some of the greatest cuisine so readily accessible. From new, honourable mentions to established favourites, here are the GTA restaurants on Canada’s 100 Best list.

From celebrated favourites (and annual mainstays) like Restaurant Pearl Morissette to relatively new hotspots like 20 Victoria and Prime Seafood Palace, the GTA has solid presence on the Canada’s 100 Best list. But, for the first time in a long time, Alo does not sit atop the list, dethroned by Montreal Restaurant Mon Lapin. And, Edulis now reigns as Toronto’s highest entry on the list, sitting in the second spot.

Other favourites and buzzy hotspots like Bernhardts, Quetzal, Canoe, Giulia, Giulietta, Sushi Masaki Saito, Aburi Hana, Mimi Chinese, Sunny’s Chinese, Sushi Yugen, Bar Prima, Casa Paco, Barberian’s, Famiglia Baldassarre, Pompette, Actinolite, Don Alfonso 1890 and DaiLo also cracked the iconic list, all representing Toronto with a diverse selection of cuisines and offerings from Italian to Asian to fusion and everything in between.
