What and when is Toronto’s Halal Ribfest barbeque festival?
The Halal Ribfest will be going on from August 26-28 at Downsview Park. Like the name suggests, all the meat will be halal, which is in line with the festival’s aim to be more inclusive of the city’s residents. This also means that none of the items will contain any pork or alcohol-related products.

What’s on the menu at the Halal Ribfest BBQ food festival in Toronto?
There’s going to be desserts of different types as well. Turkish ice cream, kunafa, kulfi, and other baked treats will all be available. You’ll also be able to check out some market vendors to shop for clothing, home décor, arts & crafts, and more. The BBQ items can be paired with any of the beverages on site, which include bubble tea, chai, lemonade, and coffee.

The Halal Ribfest will be hosted at Downsview Park in North York, in the Toronto-area, just steps from Downsview station, Downsview Airport and near the major intersection of Sheppard Ave. W. and Keele Street.
How to get to this Halal food fest in Toronto?
By transit: Highly recommended, as one of the best ways to get here because there is no doubt that parking is extremely limited in the area. We highly recommend going to Downsview TTC station via the subway system, or the Downsview Park Go Station, and then taking the West bound Sheppard Ave. W. 84 bus and getting off at either the Tuscan Gate or the John Drury Dr stops.

By car: Not recommended, but if doing so, highly suggested that you look into nearby parking lots as the park will be significantly limited. Alternatively you can park at Downsview TTC station or Downsview Park Go bus station, and walk or take the 84 westbound Sheppard Ave. W. bus.
