Gear up for a spectacular celebration of flight! The Canadian International Air Show (CIAS) is revving up for its 75th anniversary next month. This iconic Toronto event, held over the Labour Day weekend from August 31 to September 2, promises a thrilling showcase of aviation history. See cutting-edge military jets soar through the sky alongside classic warbirds, and be captivated by the aerial mastery.
The Canadian International Air Show is back
There’s lots of excitement to look forward to at this year’s CIAS. The event will have two iconic demonstration teams, one of which is the Canadian Forces Snowboards. The other is the return of the Royal Air Force Acrobatic Team, the Red Arrows.
As a special addition to this year in honour of the anniversary, the CIAS will showcase the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s Lancaster.

- Douglas C-47 Dakota on August 31 and the B-25J on September 1 & 2
- Free STEM area with a full-size aircraft on display, aerospace exhibits, and more
- Kyle Fowler with his backwards-looking plane, the Long-EZ
- Enjoy delicious eats and treats
- Take selfies with select performers and crew
Moreover, if you have a ticket to the Air Show, then you can get same-day admission to the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) as well.
Tickets can be purchased online through the website. They’re available in General Admission and Flight Deck options. The air show zone is within Marilyn Bell Park in downtown Toronto. You can get there via GO Train, TTC, biking, or driving.
