There are certain things that are just quintessentially Canadian and paying frequent visits to Canadian Tire is perhaps one of them. After all, they’ve been around for 100 years! That’s right, this year marks a significant milestone for the brand, which you might have seen on social media as they’ve been sharing content over the past months. But they did something bigger for the occasion and it involved special edition bills.

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the retail company had most recently hosted a scavenger task across the country. The task? To find $100 Canadian Tire bills that were hidden in various locations.
This was organized in numerous cities, including Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax, Calgary, and many more. The clues by provided by the brand daily on their TikTok channel. Each clue for the #FINDCT100 contest led to a bill.

Aside from people finding it to be a fun challenge, there was another incentive behind the competition. The $100 bills were vouchers that could be redeemed by the winners once found.
The contest was held from September 23 to 29, with Canadian Tire having hidden over 95 vouchers. Did you find any of them? ; )
