Are you ready to say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023? New Year celebrations mean one thing: fireworks! The City of Toronto is going all out with NYE fireworks in Toronto with its two 15-minute displays on December 31st. This time, instead of Nathan Philips Square, the synchronized shows will be happening across the waterfront areas.
You can enjoy the displays in person from multiple locations in the city. It will also be streamed live on the CultureTO YouTube channel.

Toronto Music Garden
Located at Queen’s Quay West, the park offers views along the waterfront. There’s also seating outside with benches or you can bring your own foldable chair.

Sugar Beach Park
The two-acre harbourfront location is perfect for those looking for that beach vibe to blend in with the excitement of the fireworks. It’s situated at 11 Dockside Drive and there are beach chairs available.
Ireland Park
Catch the fireworks show from the shores of Lake Ontario, along with views of the cityscape.
Harbour Square Park
This is also by Queens Quay and you can enjoy the NYE fireworks with some water views as well.
HTO Park and HTO Park West
Both locations serve as good vantage points to gather with friends and family for watching the NYE fireworks in Toronto.

The spacious area right on the city’s waterfront also makes for an ideal viewing spot. It might be a popular location so make sure to arrive well and early.
