Depending on the weather, the blooms last for about four to ten days. In case you can’t make it to see the blossoms in person, there’s always the Bloom Cam. Provided by Rogers and the City of Toronto, the virtual experience offers real-time views of the flower. You can also support the beloved trees by making donations, which will be used to boost education about cherry blossoms and improve the landscaping.
According to Sakura Watch, the peak bloom will be ongoing for all of this week and during the weekend. If the weather permits, the prediction says it should last till the beginning of next week as well. So if you’re looking to catch a glimpse of beautiful florals, you know what to do.
It is important to note that access to vehicles within High Park has been restricted for the duration of the cherry blossom viewing.
