Brunching in The 6ix is often a fun and exciting affair, especially with lots of spots to choose from. So it’s easy to imagine the excitement at the arrival of OEB Breakfast Co., the latest brunch spot in Toronto to open its location. The Calgary-based destination, which opened in 2009, currently has 13 branches in North America.

Founded by Mauro Martina, who is also the restaurant’s Head Chef, the dining establishment looks to give its customers an enhanced breakfast experience. The Liberty Village location in the 6ix is adorned with a 92-seat dining room, surrounded by an interior that is egg-themed.
Want to brunch outdoors once the warmer weather hits? OEB’s got it sorted. The restaurant is set to have a 40-seat patio, which will open before the start of summer.

What’s on the menu?
The menu is split into different sections of items. The Breakfast Poutines alone come with over 10 options, many of which contain poached eggs and duck fat fried herb potatoes. Other egg-tastic delights include Benny’s and Scram-blettes. If you’d like something with a little less emphasis on the egg, then you can check out one of their sandwiches.
There’s everything from avocado toast and burgers to bagel sandwiches and smoked chicken. And of course, no brunch menu is complete without some sweet treats. There are different classics like waffles, French Toast Trifle, and Do Not Even Go There (crêpe, vanilla custard, Quebec maple syrup).
There are plenty of beverages to choose from as well, like mimosas, smoothies, coffee and beer on tap. OEB Breakfast Co. is open for dining Monday to Friday from 7am – 3pm and on the weekends from 8am – 4pm.
