One of the many highlights at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre during the holiday season is the tree lighting ceremony. This year’s edition was no different. The event featured the iconic Barenaked Ladies, who led a sing-along with the Toronto Children’s Chorus.

The tree is known for being the tallest indoor tree in North America. As part of the lighting ceremony, there was also an animated light show, which came with a spectacle of snowflakes, ribbons and snowscapes.

The snowfall display will be ongoing for the whole holiday season. So if you missed out on the tree lighting or the snowfall experience, you can still catch it throughout the day.
There are a lot of other festivities happening at CF destinations until the end of the year. You’ve got the Santa visit from November 17 – December 24, where you can book a visit and get photos taken. There’s also the CF Holiday Market at CF Sherway Gardens with 15 local merchants.
Live musical performances will be there as well at various CF shopping centres.
So if you’re still in the middle of making plans for festive activities to do in the city, you might want to add CF spots to that list and just head to your nearest one.
