It’s not every day we get to say that a Fashion icon comes to town, but last night there was an exclusive VIP dinner held just outside the city. Held at Friday Harbour, in Innisfil Ontario (just over an hour outside the downtown core), just over 70 VIPs came together for this special affair. A night to remember. In fact, it’s Anna Fendi’s first-ever trip to Canada and luckily the weather gods came through for a beautiful evening by the water. As part of a very special tribute trip organized by the ICFF, part of the Lavazza IncluCity Festival.
Fendi lands in the Toronto-area for a series of special events, including a tribute “in conversation with” talk, a gala dinner hosted by the ICFF and a private dinner for the launch of her wines in Canada
The Lavazza IncluCity Festival, organized by the ICFF, was from June 27 to July 21, 2023, in the Distillery Historic District. The initiative dedicated a special tribute to the global fashion icon: Anna Fendi, with an exclusive “in conversation with…” talk and Gala Dinner. Where, Anna Fendi accepted the ICFF Lifetime Achievement Award for her illustrious career, paramount role in the success and expansion of Fendi, and her contribution to international cinema.
But last night, in celebration of Fendi’s wine brand, AFV (Anna Fendi Vini), launching in Canada over 70 VIPs came together to celebrate. A brand she launched back in 2016 and is now making it’s way into the Canadian market–although we haven’t quite nailed down the specific dates of availability or pricing just yet.

Fendi, was joined by Giuseppe Tedesco and many other notables in attendance including, but not limited to, Lina and Jim De Gasperis, Ashleigh and Julian De Gasperis, Enza and Marc Muzzo, and Canadian actress Ana Golja.
