The rise in popularity of Canadian cinema is no secret. A popular one that got people talking back in 2019 was Code 8. The sci-fi film brought together cousins Stephen and Robbie Amell in leading roles, with Jeff Chan as writer and director. And now four years later, the film’s sequel, Code 8 Part II, is here having released just a couple of days ago on February 28. The world premiere for the film took place right here in The 6ix at the TIFF Lightbox on February 27, followed by an exciting Q&A session with fans.

Several members of the cast and crew walked the red carpet for the premiere of Code 8 Part II in Toronto, including the Amell cousins, Chan, Aaron Abrams, Jean Yoon, and others. The movie was filmed in Ontario, namely the GTA, Hamilton, and Kingston. You can check out the trailer online.
