Canadian brand Tilley has been around for more than 40 years and prides itself on making quality products while minimizing their impact on climate change. Since the release of their first hat in 1980, the brand has expanded and now offers men’s, women, and kids’ outerwear. The brand officially opened its first store in Toronto under new ownership led by Canadian designer and business entrepreneur Joe Mimran. Mimran has helped reinvigorate the brand while expanding its safari product line.
“Tilley is an iconic lifestyle brand that proves fashion and sustainability can coexist. A Tilley hat is more than simply a lightweight, practical, durable, reliable, stylish travel essential. It’s a piece of fashion history on your head,” says co-owner and fashion entrepreneur Mimran. “The opening of this first reimagined store brings to life The World of Tilley in a way we simply
couldn’t do in other retail channels.” Joe continued. You can find the store at 61 Ossington Avenue.
