Toronto’s Distillery District saw its fair share of star power on May 21st—but not the kind you’d expect during a film festival or concert weekend. This time, the spotlight belonged to Swiss watchmaker TUDOR and its long-time ambassador, global icon David Beckham, who headlined an exclusive evening at Illuminarium for what may go down as one of the city’s most stylish nights of the season.
Bringing together horology, heritage, and high style, the event welcomed 150 guests ranging from celebrities and fashion insiders to watch collectors, media, and retail partners. At its core? A celebration of craftsmanship and daring—the brand’s #BornToDare ethos in full motion.

An immersive take on time
The venue itself set the tone. Illuminarium’s cutting-edge projection and audio tech created an atmospheric canvas, where guests could explore the brand’s legacy through light, story, and movement. At the heart of the space was a TUDOR 180 photo booth that merged music, overlays, and bold branding with a playful twist. Guests walked away with a personalized video, wearing a TUDOR timepiece like a badge of honour.
Nearby, the TUDOR Watchmaker Experience offered a rare window into the delicate precision of haute horology. A live watchmaker assembled a movement in real time, every gear and jewel projected overhead, highlighting the detail behind each timepiece.

All eyes on Beckham
David Beckham took the stage with Canadian broadcaster Caroline Cameron, and took photos with guests in attendance (that you may have seen floating all around social media. Decked out in BOSS (suit/sneakers) and wearing one of his favourite Tudor bezels, of course.

Meet the 2025 lineup
Guests were invited to explore this year’s full lineup via a unique suspended wrist experience. Models hovered just above arms for a try-on that felt futuristic, yet deeply personal. Here’s what was on display–along with a few others that were released earlier this year:

Black Bay 58 (Burgundy)
A fan-favourite with a rich burgundy bezel and Master Chronometer certification.

As well as the Pelagos FXD Chrono ‘Pink,’ celebrating endurance and teamwork in professional cycling

Pelagos Ultra Editor’s Pick
A technical marvel with 1,000m water resistance and advanced titanium construction.

Black Bay Chrono (Flamingo Blue)
This year’s boldest limited edition—fresh, expressive, and in demand.
TUDOR also showcased last year’s Black Bay Chrono Pink, tying Beckham’s sports legacy to the brand’s modern flair.

A night well spent
From interactive installations to world-class watchmaking and a close-up with one of the most recognized faces in global sport and style, “A Night with Beckham” was more than a product launch—it was a brand statement. TUDOR didn’t just show its watches. It showed its world.
