It’s been more than a week since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and to say the effects have been devastating would be a severe understatement. Countries and cities have rallied together to show their support for the Ukrainian people and we can do our part here in The 6ix too. Along with making donations and raising awareness, we can also help the community by supporting Ukrainian businesses. Heavenly Perogy
The restaurant offers a variety of Ukrainian delicacies and snacks. They also have a Heavenly Box, filled with oven-ready and ready-to-eat items for two-eight guests. Heavenly Perogy is accepting donations as well, which will be handed to the Ukrainian army and civilians. You can place orders on their website here.

Future Bakery
The bakery specialises in a variety of breads, from rye and baguette to wheat and sourdough. Ukrainian bread is on the menu too, like Termopil Rye and Kyiv Rye, along with a selection of pastries. There’s delivery and pickup available and orders can be made here.
Barrel House Korchma
The restaurant’s menu is filled with all sorts of traditional Ukrainian dishes, like cabbage rolls, Ukrainian sausage, nalysnyky (crepes), and lots more. Reservations can be made here, along with orders for takeout and delivery.

Baby Point Lounge
The catering company offers its services across the whole of GTA. But they also have an express takeout menu with various snacks, sides and main dishes. They operate Thursday to Saturday from 11:30am and orders can be placed here.
Vatra Deli
The menu for the Etobicoke restaurant highlights Ukrainian and Eastern European dishes. You can find potato pancakes, pirogies, Ukrainian borsch and lots of other items. Catering is available and you can check out the full menu on the website.

Natalie’s Kitchen
The business brings to life authentic Ukrainian dishes made with traditional techniques and ingredients. The menu is an extensive one, with plenty to choose from. Orders can be placed on the website here.
Moldova
The restaurant highlights many Eastern European cuisines, including Ukrainian. The menu features soups and appetizers, with plenty of meat and vegetarian main course dishes. They’re available on major delivery platforms and reservations can be made here.
