If you’re a fan of crispy, golden fries, a well-known frozen food brand has unveiled a deliciously unique experience you won’t want to miss. A French fry-themed café pop-up has taken up residence in The 6ix, celebrating this beloved comfort food in different forms. In addition to the existing menu items, the café will drop some new limited-time items. Ready to know more? We’ve got you!
McCain’s Happy Frydays Café
The limited-time pop-up is located at 119 Strachan Avenue. Every part of the café is designed for the ultimate French fry vibe, which means there are plenty of photo opportunities to enjoy. Not only is the spot a visual treat for fry-lovers but it also comes with a menu filled with different snacks and treats.
You will also be able to shop from the Happy Frydays Café capsule merch collection, as well as some photo booth pictures in the air fryer disco.

Some of the menu items include:
- Tasti Tachos: McCain Tasti Taters dressed up like a plate of nachos. Customizable with beef, chicken, or vegetable chilli.
- Smile Stackers: Build-your-own with McCain Smiles, mini beef or vegetarian burgers, customized with toppings, and served with McCain Spirals.
- The “You Want Fries With That?” Milkshake: A salted caramel milkshake with a french fry rim, served with McCain Superfries for dipping.
And in celebration of Halloween, you’ll find some Fright Fries. One of these is the Vampire Killa, which has McCain Spirals in a black cauldron with ketchup ‘blood’, hot dog fingers, garlic parm sauce, and more. And it’s not just for Halloween. Swifties will have Eras Tour-themed treats to check out soon as well.
The McCain’s Happy Frydays Café is only open for a limited time until November 24, Wednesday through Sunday, from 11 am to 10 pm, so you know what to do!
