You can find Lebanese favourites like shawarma, mezze, tabbouleh, kafta and more at many of these restaurants. If you’re someone that can’t get enough of Lebanese food then you might want to check out this new spot in the Financial District called Laylak.

The restaurant offers a selection of authentic and traditional Lebanese dishes. They offer both a lunch and dinner menu available. Some of the mains include Makdous Fatteh, Kibbeh Al Seakh, Kefta Kebab, and Mixed Grill to name a few.
There are also classic dips and hot appetizers like hummus, spinach fatayer (spinach , Sumac, pine nuts) Fattoush, and Cauliflower Tajin (Fried Cauliflower, cilantro, Serrano). Rice, pita and fries are available as sides. Most of the dishes are also available on the lunch menu as well.

The menu is put together by Executive Chef Hazem Al Hamwi and is owned by Youssef Harb and Hashem Almasri. Classic mezze plates, Halal grilled meats and seafood are part of the offerings. For drinks, customers can expect signature cocktails and a wine list that includes both Lebanese varieties and ones from other countries around the world.
According to the press release statement, “Laylak offers modern décor and a sophisticated yet relaxing ambiance.” The design was done by Lavish Design Build, which features archways, ceiling designs and fixtures that are inspired by Lebanese architecture. Artist Max Jamali has added his touch with the butterflies for the luxury aesthetic.
This Lebanese restaurant in Toronto is open daily for lunch and dinner. You can make a reservation through the restaurant’s website. The team is opening another branch in Oakville later this year. It will be called Layl by Laylak and will open in late 2023.
