The Constantine Yorkville Run, a cornerstone of Toronto’s running calendar, is set to make a comeback next month. Sponsored by On, this annual event offers participants a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant Yorkville neighbourhood while helping to support thirty local charities. This will be the 15th edition of the event, known for being one of Canada’s fastest 5K road races.

“This event not only showcases the incredible spirit of our local runners but also highlights the generosity of our community in supporting important causes. We look forward to another successful year of fundraising and racing,” Kelly Foss, the Executive Director of the Run, said in a press release statement.
The goal for this year is to raise a whopping $1,000,000 for the charities. Some of the ones the event supports include the UHN Foundation (Centre for Living Organ Donation), the Canadian Cancer Society, and the SickKids Foundation. All organizations have notable impact causes, focusing on issues like healthcare, education, and more.

How to register for the run
Registration is required for those who wish to participate in the run. You can do so online on the website. The price is set at $100 + HST, along with a $100 donation to the charity of your choice.
When is it happening
The Constantine Yorkville Run will take place on September 8. The meeting point is at 61 Davenport Rd in Jesse Ketchum PS Courtyard from 8:15 pm – 8:30 pm. Upon registration, runners can pick up their Premium Race Kit on September 6 & 7 from the Manulife Centre in Yorkville.
The 2024 edition of the Constantine Yorkville Run will also bring together Canada’s top two female Boston Marathon finishers, Kim and Michelle Krezenoski. Another addition to the event is the 2022 winner Samuel Kinahan.
