Nobody loves TIFF as much we do, but we’ve gotta admit: as the festival begins to unwind and the madness begins to settle, we really just want a chance to relax and share some laughs with a friend. Remember that… life before TIFF? To honour this fantasy of ours, we are offering four lucky people the chance to win a pair of tickets to the exclusive, up close and personal Lisa Dunham show, live at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on September 20th, as part of the JFL42 Comedy Festival.
Valued at more than $100, winners of these tickets will be treated to an intimate (and hilarious) live-reading of Lena Dunham’s collection of soon-to-be released essays entitled, Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s “Learned” – and all a full 10 days before the book hits shelves on September 30th. The show also includes an interactive Q&A with Dunham moderated by CBC’s Jian Ghomeshi.
This awesome event takes you out of the audience and makes you a part of the show itself, so come prepared with some questions for Dunham, too! You never know, you might just end up havin’ a little chat with her as Ghomeshi nods along intently.
