The fifth annual Cover Me Urban is back at Maison Mercer on April 11th, 2018. Presented by Tangerine and hosted by TSN’s Cabral “Cabbie” Richards, the event is a celebration of the diverse flavours and sights of Toronto. Most importantly, Cover Me Urban is also a fundraiser for Youth Without Shelter (YWS) and this year’s goal is to raise over $100,000. Tickets are $125 with all the proceeds will be going to support the programs at YWS. When it’s going to a good cause, it’s definitely worth the price tag.

About Youth Without Shelter

Youth Without Shelter (YWS) is an Etobicoke based emergency shelter and support house. YWS has served youth 16-24 for over 30 years, and more than 1,000 homeless youth every year. They provide victims of abuse and abandonment a place of safety and security. YWS offers counselling and life skills, employment, housing and after-care programs.

What To Expect at Cover Me Urban

There will be a lot to expect when you grab a ticket to take part in Cover Me Urban. Food? Drink? Entertainment? It’s all covered.

FOOD AND DRINK: Cover Me Urban will have 5 local food hot spots repping the flavours of Little Italy, Kensington Market, Queen’s Quay, Yonge-Dundas Square and Rexdale. Plus, drinks are provided by Brickworks Ciderhouse, Mill Street Brewery and Oyster Bay Wines. Oh, and a whole lot of ice cream…

MUSIC: A DJ will spin all your favourite tunes all night along with live music and entertainment experiences.

VIBE: There are tons of things to enjoy and experience while you’re there. Cover Me Urban will have carnival games, caricature art, a magician and henna art. There’s also a silent auction with prizes like a week-long getaway to Niagara.
