Get ready to kick off summer Toronto-style! The vibrant Do West Fest returns this weekend, bringing three days of nonstop fun to the heart of Little Portugal. This free street festival is a beloved tradition, transforming Dundas Street West into a bustling hub of music, art, and community spirit. From live performances and delectable eats to unique crafts and local vendors, the festival has a lot to offer.

“We are thrilled to bring back Toronto’s start to summer,” Tracy Jenkins (she/her) at Little
Portugal Toronto BIA said in a press release statement. “It’s such an important showcase for our unique neighbourhood.”
The 2024 edition is projected to attract up to one million visitors. For F&B vendors, there will be several Little Portugal businesses like The Good Fork, Hem Social, Antler Kitchen, and Pasta Forever. As part of the festivities is the vintage Hippie Market, which will host more than 40 vendors. You’ll be able to find the market near Lansdowne.

When it comes to art, there are some cool things that you can’t miss out on. This includes an installation on the Community Stage, two murals that are being painted live during the festival, and the debut of three augmented reality pieces.
There’s lots happening on the musical side as well. There will be different performances happening on the Lulaworld, Transmit, and Community stages. There’s Samba Reggae All-Stars featuring Mestre Eden Gordo & More, Julianna Riolino, and SHOUT!.
It is free to attend Do West Fest. The 11th anniversary of the festival is happening from June 7-9. It starts from 6 pm on June 7 and from 11 am on both June 8 & 9.
