The Ford kids are at it again. If you thought it was bad enough that Doug Ford’s daughters were cutting their dad’s hair with dog grooming clippers, demanding he reopen salons, and even coming out with a cookie business, this one takes the cake. Dougie’s eldest daughter, Krista, is in some serious hot water for spreading anti-vaccine messaging on social media.
The 30-year old took to her private Instagram on Tuesday to share a brochure that came in the mail. The leaflet was encouraging folks to get vaccinated, and Krista has her own opinions. “This is what I got in the mail today, so I’m going to read it to y’all,” she said.

She proceeded to read the brochure aloud, pausing to make faces along the way. The leaflet reads that vaccines are safe but Ford looked to the camera and added “someone might want to fact-check that.”
But it gets worse! She even suggested that the organization that put the leaflet in her mailbox ought to be sending bibles instead. To finish off her anti-vaccine “rant”, she’s got a boomerang holding the flyer with the hashtag: #mybodymychoice while shaking her head.
The backlash has certainly started with videos of her Instagram stories going viral on Reddit and other Toronto publications. Even though Krista has a private Instagram account and, like everyone, is completely entitled to her own opinions, as the Premier’s daughter, we can’t help but wonder what Daddy thinks about this?

It comes as no surprise that the video is gaining some traction over on Reddit. Users are understandably angry with one writing: “This makes my blood boil. She is ignorant and has done no ‘fact checking’ before telling thousands of followers so confidently that the vaccine is not safe.” Is now one of those times where science HAS to trump opinion?
Another said, “‘Vaccines do not give you COVID-19,”Might want to fact check that.’ How can she be so confident that it’s incorrect when fact checking would prove that it is?”
This isn’t even Krista’s first brush with controversy. Back in 2012, Ontario’s sweetheart told women who feared walking home alone to not “dress like a whore” and that should keep them safe… Need I say more?
Only time will tell regarding how soon Dougie will have to speak up and likely back track on his daughter’s behalf.
