No one can honestly say they don’t while away at least a few hours a week scrolling through their various favourite, purely entertaining sites. Lucky for me though, lollygagging on my top sites doubles as research, or at the very least, inspiration. Here’s my list of most visited.
Who What Wear
Like a really good fashion magazine spread, but far more dangerous: links are provided for ultra-awesome items you didn’t know you needed until you saw them, in addition to their original posts and links for coveted, hard-to-find items seen on celebrities.
The Glamourai
New York City stylist Kelly Framel’s personal fashion blog – stunning photography, amazing insider coverage, and clever and concise content. Enough said.

4th and Bleeker
Alexandra Spencer is a tad pompous, as her self-description states, “she oozes sex, style and sophistication.” Well, it’s true, and her now-lucrative blog got the attention of and partnerships with the likes of Louis Vuitton, J Brand, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue because of it. Incredible editorial-style imagery-meets it-girl style stories make for one sexy site.
Cupcakes and Cashmere
LA girl Emily Schuman’s personal blog about things she loves (um, what girl doesn’t love cupcakes and cashmere?). With a media background from publishing giant Condé Nast, her fashion, food, beauty and Ask Emily posts read well informed and fun.

Harper and Harley
Sydney based blogger Sara Donaldson makes me long for that languish yet polished and supremely covetable way of dressing that only seems to come naturally when living in Oz-land. Personal style shots are delightfully alluring and captivating and vividly brought to life.
The Beauty Gypsy
For someone with such an incredibly modern background, Anubha Charan’s impressive experience as Vogue’s Managing Editor, Marie Claire’s Beauty Director, and Cosmopolitan’s Beauty Editor have only made her more humble. Case in point: her site for beauty junkies alike, “where ancient beauty secrets meet modern science,” features just as many posts outlining natural beauty solutions as it does newest beauty collections.
Lainey Gossip
Sometimes a gal just needs a few minutes of mindlessness in the form of totally irrelevant celebrity gossip news. When that’s the case, nothing beats Canadian favourite Elaine Lui’s site, which delicately balances gossip in the nicest way, because hey, celebrities are people, too!
They All Hate Us
Besties Tash Sefton and Elle Ferguson started their now-internationally renowned blog innocently enough: by sending each other photos, quotes or fashion-inspirations to get through their Visual Merchandising and Buyer fashion jobs daily with a smile. Their curated crop of photos remains the same, but now has the ability to help millions get through their day with by simply scrolling through the site.
