Colombian-American DJ, Erick Morillo, will be DJ-ing a party down at Toronto’s Cabana Pool Bar this month. Don’t recognize the name? While you might not know him as Erick Morillo, you may recognize him as the man who made the smash hit Move It! Morillo was born in New York City, but spent most of his early years in Cartagena where he fell in love with salsa and merengue music.  When he was 11, his family moved back to the United States and he began DJ-ing weddings, heavily influenced by reggae and hip-hop. After taking a DJ course at NYC’s Centre for Media Arts, he began DJ-ing at local clubs, and the rest is history.
