Reopening of Wheatsheaf Tavern

The highly anticipated re-opening of Toronto’s iconic Wheatsheaf Tavern, the oldest bar in the city, will kick off on March 17, 2020. Gracing the southwest corner of King and Bathurst Streets as it has since 1849, the beloved neighbourhood classic has been thoughtfully restored to bring new energy into the space, while retaining the magic and character of its landmark building.
The St. Patrick’s Day All Stars party will feature live music and entertainment for party goers to celebrate the bar’s long-awaited re-emergence. The event will include all day performances by members of Blue Rodeo, The Beauties, Uisce Beatha and more.
*$15 cover charge after 8:00 p.m
