The 2024 TD Toronto Jazz Festival, running from June 21 to June 30, celebrates its 37th edition with an impressive lineup of performances across the city. This year’s festival will feature over 100 free live shows alongside several ticketed events, primarily in the historic Bloor-Yorkville neighborhood. Headliners include Andre 3000, Lake Street Dive, Cory Henry, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Hiatus Kaiyote, promising a diverse array of jazz styles and influences.

Canadian talents such as Amanda Martinez, Jill Barber, Kellylee Evans, and Dominique Fils-Aimé will also take the stage, alongside emerging artists like spoken word poet Kirk Diamond. The festival will highlight various cultural influences, with themed nights and performances such as Cuban night curated by Hilario Duran and an Afro-Caribbean music and dance evening by Joy Lapps.

Notable performances include Dominique Fils-Aimé unveiling her latest JUNO-winning album, “Our Roots Run Deep,” and Curtis Nowosad Trio featuring Joanna Majoko. Other acts to look forward to are the dynamic Marta Elena Sextet, the genre-blending Hiatus Kaiyote, and the powerful vocals of Hayley Wallis. Additionally, the festival will host unique collaborations and immersive experiences, such as the Gospel at the Grove finale, curated by Darren Hamilton and Karen Burke.
