Toronto’s most stylish event, World MasterCard Fashion Week (WMCFW), is less than a week away and we cannot wait to see what the shows have in store for us. Running March 17th to the 21st, the tents at the David Pecaut Square will be packed with media, bloggers and fashionistas alike – all in the name of fashion. WMCFW is indeed the nation’s biggest fashion event of the year, so you can be sure designers will be bringing their A-game to the runways…
Here at View the Vibe, we love seeing fresh talent on the runways and it’s always a pleasure supporting new Canadian designers. Ones that we’re excited to see this season are Malorie Urbanovitch and Cecile Raizonville (of Matiere Noire) who were both chosen by the Mercedes-Benz Start Up to showcase their designs during Toronto Fashion Week. We’re dying to see what they’re bringing to the shows and wish them all the luck!

Along with fresh talent, we also adore our Canadian designer alumnus who are always a staple to Toronto’s runways. From haute couture to ready-to-wear fashion, we can always count on these extremely talented and well respected designers to bring their very best to the shows. We already know Beaufille, David Dixon, Mikhael Kale, Pink Tartan and Vawk will be sure to impress with their Fall/Winter 2014 collections.
World MasterCard Fashion Week is a fantastic way to support local talent in the fashion industry. Don’t forget: Dress your very best for those street style photographers, of course! Here’s looking at you, kid… er… Canadian fashion!
