Fashion and fundraising came together on on Wednesday October 2nd, 2019 as Fashion Heals for SickKids returned for a 5th edition. The event took place at The Atrium @Ricarda’s, along with a performance by Canadian multi-platinum award-winning singer, Craig Smart. The guests also heard all about the impact SickKids has had on people’s lives, including their patient ambassador, Stephanie Clayton. The show was curated by La Closette and hosted by Melissa Grelo and Jess Allen of CTV’s The Social.
SickKids patients, both children and adults, as well as the doctors and clinicians walked the runway. It was in support of hospital’s Innovation Grant for Paediatric Cancer Care and Research and the SickKids VS Limits campaign to build a new SickKids Hospital. Karl Wolf also made an appearance, who sang some of his unforgettable hits.
The guests indulged in delicious snacks after and were able to take advantage of the items up for auction. Dance and music were part of the night, all the while focusing on lifting the spirits of these kids and their families.

Founded in 2015, Fashion Heals for SickKids is a volunteer-driven organization, powered by a team of people from diverse backgrounds. The intention was for the event to raise $250,000 of the $1 million that Fashion Heals has committed to raising for SickKids. Fashion Heals donates one hundred percent of the funds raised to SickKids Foundation. The online auction was open until October 5th, 2019 at 7 pm.
Fashion Heals for SickKids was an incredible night full of fashion, fun and hope. All attendees contributed to an incredible cause.
