ICYMI, Bloor-Yorkville has long been the bougiest place to be in the city, year round. Heck not just the bougiest, but home to some of the most sought after destinations in the city. From the Four Seasons, to NYC Michelin star chef’s Sushi Masaki Saito, Sotto Sotto, and the most recently the raved about (and most difficult place to get a table at these days) is the elevated Chinese food eatery (recently topping the charts of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants), boasting 4-foot noodles on their menu and vibrant red velvet banquettes that are the backdrop of nearly every photo, Mimi Chinese. But luckily for Yorkville frequenters and Mimi diners alike, there is a new hotspot in town, now just steps away (literally above Mimi), for the ultimate nightcap or elevated night out. Enter, Parc Ave.
This is what Parc Ave, Toronto’s hottest new elevated cocktail lounge and bar, looks like inside…

Although there was some confusion around who or what group is behind Parc Ave, we confirmed that they are owned and operated by both Harlo Entertainment and Travis Agresti.

From the perfectly dim lighting, to their vibrant red velvet banquettes, you almost can’t take your eyes off this space, and keep looking around. There’s no doubt in our minds that Parc Ave will quickly become the perfect Yorkville people watching spot of the city, where socialites flock to see and be seen.

What’s on the cocktail lists?
Determined to become one of Toronto’s longest cocktails lists, as said by beverage manager Ben Kingstone (formerly with Mother cocktail bar), Parc Ave’s is kicking things off with a set of launch cocktails. Allowing the team to focus on perfecting and introducing these initial cocktails for the launch this Thursday, and then will gradually continue to expand the list until they achieve their goal.
From their take on a martini, to a house-made ruby aero chocolate topped bourbon based cocktail, to their outstandingly lavish Remy X.O.-based and caviar topped cocktail, coming in at $136, they all satisfy the pallet in their own ways.
If you’re not drinking every last drop of the cocktail, you’re surely eating up all the garnishes… because the Aero-like ruby chocolate sitting up top of their Vampire Campfire cocktail is divine. I kind wish they sold it on it’s own–but that just means I’ll be back!
“Offering exceptional experiences with unparalleled hospitality, we know that Parc Ave will become a coveted destination for guests to escape, mingle with the cultured and like-minded, and enjoy masterfully crafted cocktails from our talented cocktail artists…”
Ben Kingstone, Parc Ave’s beverage manager
At first sip, I must say these cocktails do not disappoint. They’re complex, yet smooth, but don’t get me wrong…they do have some that still pack a punch (for those who enjoy that). Surprisingly though, they’re not all just smoke and mirrors. The presentation is solid, but the flavour is nothing less and not overly sweet. Smart. Not over complicating things from the start, but we can’t wait to be back and experience even more as the list grows.

What’s on the Menu at Parc Ave?
Inside the two Parc Ave rooms, they will be offering a rotating selection of curated snacks. The Onyx Bar and Jade Room will be offering a slightly varying menu offer, with some overlap in house specialities. Ranging from their Parc Popcorn with fresh shaved truffles (which was finger licking good). To a house made pretzel and even caviar service (the perfect pairing to their Sazerac caviar topped cocktail).
In the Jade Room, the word on the street is they’ll also be offering elevated pizzas, including a caviar pizza, of course. So make sure to ask about it on your next visit in and let them know View the VIBE sent you. 😉
