If you’re looking to take your healthy salad game to the next level, look no further than midtown’s latest eatery. Forest Hill Farmhouse’s motto is “salad, but chic” and with good reason: if ever there was an Instagram-worthy salad, look no further than the massive, colourful bowls with Toronto-centric names that are all on offer at Forest Hill’s new healthy eating hub.
About Forest Hill Farmhouse
Open every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the new salad spot offers a menu that could be considered a Mandy’s-meets-Freshii kind of vibe, complete with colourful salads and bowls full of fresh and flavourful ingredients. The company’s website offers salads that are “never boring and always beautiful,” and the bowls–complete with Toronto-centric names–certainly deliver.
Options include The Casa Loma, which is crafted with roasted chicken, romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, red onion, roasted corn, avocado, jalapeño, black beans, red peppers, feta cheese, house-made chilli line tortilla strips, spicy margarita vinaigrette and chipotle aioli drizzle. The Mexican-inspired salad is joined by eleven signature-crafted offerings, each inspired by global flavours, as well as a small selection of bowls including miso salmon, shawarma chicken and roasted vegetable falafel. Of course, build-your-own salad and bowl options are also available.

The new eatery opened its doors to the upscale Forest Hill neighbourhood on Monday, December 12, and debuted a clean, earthy space bursting with California vibes. Hanging plants meet velvet banquette seating in a neutrally coloured space decorated with tons of natural wood and kitchen wares on in-wall shelves.
Forest Hill Farmhouse is located at 2 Lola Road, off of Yonge Street between Eglinton Avenue West and Davisville Avenue. It’s up the street from PAI Uptown and steps from Oretta Midtown. For takeout or delivery, the menu is also available for delivery on DoorDash, UberEats and Ritual.
