From the team that brought you the Lil’ Baci and Annabelle Pasta Bar comes a new hotspot in Leslieville for Italian cuisine. Frankie’s Italian is now open and has taken over the spot formerly occupied by Lil’ Baci at 892 Queen Street East.
Open seven days a week, Frankie’s Italian will offer in-house, handmade pastas, mains and sides. Don’t fret, Lil’ Baci’s signature pizza made with long-fermented dough and sandwiches made on baked-to-order fresh bread are not going away. They will be open for all-day brunch, sit down or take out lunch and dinner. Artisan coffee and pastries are also available to grab and go if that’s more your speed.

If it’s some alcohol that you want, the bar at Frankie’s Italian opens at 4 p.m. every day. On its menu will be a selection of Italian wine labels and a signature Negroni Bar with high-quality concotcions like rosehip and ginger, orange blossom and frizzante.
Now you won’t know the prices until you get there, but Mark Bacci, one of the people behind the concept of Frankie’s Italian, says the restaurant “centres around value,” and people should expect “delicious Italian food at a fair price.”
