Taking over the beautiful Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts for the 13th year is Operanation. Easily one of the city’s most popular charity events, this year’s theme is A Night of Curiosities. For $150 per ticket, guests can indulge in a night of fashion, innovation and music, with a live performance by JUNO winning musician Kiesza, free flowing elixirs and culinary experiments. BOUNCE – Block Party
May 27
Nationally recognized live arts incubator The Theatre Centre is hosting a big shebang to help raise funds to support their on-going artistic programming. The BOUNCE – Block Party will take place at the Franco Boni Theatre and Gallery Space and guests can expect an epic dance party led by Toronto’s “2BadBros” DJ duo DJ Riccachet & DJ Thera-P of Sweet Touch Foundation, deejay Gramera, and live saxophone with Dennis P. In addition to live music and dancing, there will be immersive performances, a silent auction featuring items from Tiger of Sweden, Shinola and more, plus cocktails and incredible eats by West Queen West staples like The Drake Hotel, Mabel’s Bakery, Poutini’s, and Parts and Labour. Powerball XIX: Stereo Vision presented by MaxMara

The biggest art party in the city is just around the corner! Now in its 19th year, The Power Plant is collaborating with Max Mara for an evening of contemporary art, music, food and fashion. Themed Stereo Vision, the party promises to explore alternate realities, unseen universes and hidden worlds, not to mention, there’ll be tons of food (last year featured an outdoor BBQ and multiple food stations) and plenty of cocktails. Garden Party in support of WaterStone Foundation

This ain’t your average garden party. This intimate event takes place at an undisclosed private estate which features lush gardens overlooking the city in Etobicoke. For one evening only, you can rub elbows with the city’s most influential while being treated to refreshing cocktails, live jazz by Steve Hagen and food by 10tation Catering and The Cheese Boutique. Tickets are a bit pricier, $600 for one and $1000 for a pair, but a limited amount are available for guests under $29 for just $100. Funds raised go towards increasing awareness for eating disorder treatment in Canada, and last year’s party raised $170,000 for four eating disorder programs in Ontario and $50,000 in financial aid for specialized eating disorder treatment. Father Daughter Ball

This heartwarming gala is a little different than all the others on the list – this one is just for the dads and daughters of the city. Set in the Glass Pavilion at Casa Loma, this gala welcomes dads and daughters ages 5 to 14 for a memorable evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment. Tickets are $275 for father and daughter tickets which include a welcome drink, complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, a two course dinner (with wine for dad), a decadent dessert station, professional portraits and more. All-Star Gala in support of SickKids

If you’re looking for a star-studded night, this is it. Taking place at Toronto’s historic Arcadian Court, the third annual All-Star Gala will bring together 1250 celebrities, young professionals and pro athletes in support of SickKids. Past celebrity guests included PK Subban, Peter Holland, James van Riemsdyk, Devante Smith-Pelly, Luke Gazdic, Morgan Rielly and Brian Conacher.
