Ever wanted to experience the thrill of driving an award-winning car at extraordinary speeds? That’s exactly what we got a chance to do at Genesis’ GTAA Runway Event hosted at Pearson Airport. Genesis G70, The 2018 North American Car of the Year was tested on the runways of YYZ, at what was definitely an event of a lifetime.
We got a chance to drive the G70 on a runway with an instructor. The car, which features a twin-turbocharged V6 engine and four-wheel drive, assures an incomparable driving experience.
The event continued with a G70 pro driver speed test and thrill ride. Participants got to zoom down a runway at remarkable speeds, with planes flying just overhead. The driving experience was wrapped up with G70 and G80 road test drives, where we got a chance to test out the track for ourselves. It’s safe to say that this car is made for the thrill-seekers, and if you’re looking for sleek, athletic, elegance, this is the vehicle for you.

To conclude the action-packed day, everyone was guided through an exclusive behind the scenes tour of YYZ. We got a chance to explore Terminal 1 and were guided through a luxurious tasting experience. Think cheese and meat boards, burgers and all of the kebabs you could eat.
The Genesis Drive Experience at YYZ was definitely one for the books. The Genesis G70 is leading the next stage of growth, with an unmatched blend of performance, luxury and style. There aren’t many better ways to experience such a car than racing it along the tracks at Canada’s #1 air travel hub.
