Attention, all cheese lovers and gravy fans! With classic combos and wild creations, we know that Toronto’s poutine scene promises something for every craving. The iconic Canadian dish is a favourite among many, so of course there’s a National Poutine Day to celebrate it. It’s almost upon us and there’s a way for you to enjoy a poutine for free and here’s how.
Celebrating National Poutine Day in Toronto
The Canadian quick service restaurant (QSR) chain New York Fries needs no introduction of course. Established in the 1980s, there are 100+ locations of the brand just in Canada alone. Globally, there are also locations across China and the Middle East.
With a menu that’s all about skins-on french fries, the name is also one that’s become associated with poutine. That’s why New York Fries is offering an exclusive offer to members of its loyalty program, Fry Society.

What’s the offer?
If you’re a member of Fry Society and buy a NYF Poutine, then you can get the second one for FREE. And if you aren’t part of Fry Society, then don’t worry. You can sign up for free online to take advantage of the offer and other perks that the programme offers.
The offer can only be availed on National Poutine Day, which is April 11.
You can get poutines with different toppings. There’s Pulled Pork, Flamin’ Bacon (hot pepper rings, bacon crumble), Nacho Fries (cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream, green onions), and Butter Chicken.
But if you prefer a normal poutine, then the Classic Poutine is for you. No fluff or frills, just the curds and gravy. There’s also The Works, which has beef chilli, sour cream, cheese sauce, and bacon.
