There are many treats that come to mind when we think of summer, and a leading contender is of course, ice cream. And with it being National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, what better way to celebrate than by enjoying some free ice cream in Toronto? As well know, the city plays host to a huge selection of ice cream spots and there are a couple you can check out for a sweet deal.

Ben & Jerry’s
If you want to start the celebrations a little early, you can go out to Trinity Bellwoods Park. A Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck will be giving out free scoops from 12pm – 4pm only for today. The initiative is in support of the Grassy Narrows First Nation as part of the efforts for land protection. You’ll be able to get your hands on the ice cream brand’s flavours of your choice.
Good Behaviour
Another brand for ice cream in Toronto that’s set to offer free scoops on July 17 is Good Behaviour. The store is providing scoops of its “Ontario Milk & Honey” flavour at all three locations. Make sure to get there early though, because it’s only available until supplies last.

The flavour has been created in partnership with Dairy Farmers of Ontario. Good Behaviour is located at 342 Westmoreland Avenue North, 874 Yonge Street, and 235 Queens Quay (inside Boxcar Social).
S’cream Ice Cream
The Yorkville spot also has a special deal going on for the occasion on July 17. S’cream is running a BOGO offer, where you can buy the first scoop and get the second for free. This applies for any of the flavours and available until supplies last. If you’d like a bit of kick with your sweet treat, the dessert shop also has boozy ice cream floats on the menu.
