Nothing says summer in The 6ix like a trip to Canada’s Wonderland and an afternoon spent at the waterpark. If you grew up near or in the city, it’s likely that a visit to Splash Works was a summertime staple. From the epic waterslides to calm floats in the lazy river, a waterpark is always the right answer (minus the mandatory sunburn). If you were thinking summer was around the corner, you’re right and the opening of the waterpark this week is a sure tell sign.
Splash Works is opening this week
Ready to get the summer started? Head to Canada’s Wonderland on May 28th for the opening of their waterpark, Splash Works. With 17 waterslides, you’re sure to have a day full of adrenaline and screams! Why pick one slide when you can experience them all right? And you don’t have to stop at the waterpark as the amusement park will be open too of course!
Curious about the waterslides? Think you’ve got what it takes to survive a few rides? Well some of the most popular waterpark rides include the Black Hole and the Plunge- both of which will get you wet wet wet. The Black Hole is a dark, tube slide that leaves you in the dark experiencing it all and the Plunge pulls you down in a three seater raft faster than you can blink!

Canada’s Wonderland is now fully cashless and reservations are no longer required to enter the park. Masks are not necessary (waterparks probably aren’t best enjoyed with masks on LOL) but guests are welcome to wear masks within the park if they wish!
