Gwyneth Paltrow is at it again. Although she’s arguably more famous these days for Goop.com than she is acting, the Oscar winner is still a hot cover star for all the A-list magazines no matter what she’s promoting. Perhaps it’s because she always seems to run into a little bit of misquoting trouble when doing interviews, and her latest cover story is, of course, no different. Is it wrong that we can’t help but love it? We’ll take a controversial star over an indifferent one any day.
Gwyneth tops “Most Hated Celeb” lists for a reason, and it has a lot to do with the remarks she makes about her fitness routine and her beauty regime. When speaking with British Cosmo for the magazine’s current issue, Gwyneth let loose on her opinion of sun exposure: “We’re human beings and the sun is the sun – how can it be bad for you?” said the actress. “I think we should all get sun and fresh air. I don’t think anything that is natural can be bad for you – it’s really good to have at least 15 minutes of sun a day.”
That wasn’t so bad, was it? Well, she’s been known to get much, much worse. In fact, we’ve got the proof right here. Here are Gwyneth Paltrow’s most obnoxious beauty quotes…

“I use organic products, but I get lasers. It’s what makes life interesting, finding the balance between cigarettes and tofu. I’ve probably tried everything. I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I’m 50. I’ll try anything. Except I won’t do Botox again, because I looked crazy. I looked like Joan Rivers!”
Press Association, July 2010
“Every woman can make time [to work out] – every woman – and you can do it with your baby in the room. There have been countless times where I’ve worked out with my kids crawling around all over the place. You just make it work.”

Self, May 2011
“Taking care of yourself is being there for your kids, like how on a plane, they tell you to put on your oxygen mask first.”
