There’s something undeniably exciting about watching a beloved restaurant expand, especially when the city has already embraced it with open arms (and empty stomachs). Toronto’s Japanese food lovers are about to get even luckier, because a new chapter for Hello Nori is officially on the way. While the details are still under wraps, the brand has confirmed its next big move—and it’s set to bring even more of their signature craftsmanship to the city. Think architectural design, West Coast warmth, and the hand-roll experience Torontonians can’t get enough of. And yes, there’s even a little treat for loyal fans leading up to launch day.
Hello Nori is preparing to open its third Toronto location in early 2026 at 1250 Bay Street, right in the heart of Bloor-Yorkville. This marks the restaurant group’s eighth opening nationwide, arriving alongside their very first Calgary outpost the same year. The new space will feature Hello Nori’s signature menu, showcasing premium neta sourced from both Canada and Japan—crafted into the hand rolls the brand has become known for.
Staying true to their roots, the Bloor-Yorkville location will debut the restaurant’s iconic wood-sculpted ceiling, a design element inspired by their flagship on Vancouver’s Robson Street. Expect the same warm, modern, West-Coast-meets-Toronto energy—only elevated, with a few new surprises that the team is keeping tightly guarded.

To celebrate the upcoming opening and thank its Toronto community, Hello Nori is giving away $10 through MOOLA Canada to be enjoyed at the 70 York Street or King Street locations. Each customer can claim one offer, available until the Yorkville doors officially open, with redemptions valid through Spring 2026.
“The entire team at Hello Nori is thrilled to see our brand being welcomed in Toronto… Opening a third Toronto location in Bloor-Yorkville feels like the natural next step,” shared Isaac Oliver, Corporate Director of Restaurant Operations. “We can’t say much about what we’re working on under the hood, but we’re very excited about this upcoming project and continuing to develop brand innovations.”
At its core, Hello Nori remains dedicated to the art of hand-roll sushi. Each roll is crafted individually to ensure crispy nori, warm rice, and impeccably fresh ingredients—an attention to detail that has shaped the brand since day one. The restaurant continues its mission to blend quality, service, and design while supporting local communities and practicing sustainability.
And according to Corporate Head Chef Jay Pugong, Bloor-Yorkville is just the beginning. “Guests can expect the Hello Nori hand rolls they love, along with a few surprises designed exclusively for a more premium space,” he says.
