Even though the calendar has switched to a new year, some things never change. The TTC is hard at work making adjustments, changing routes and attempting to optimize the reliability of our public transit system. With that, though, came an onslaught of service advisories, designed to improve service reliability on several TTC routes. So, if you’re headed out this weekend, there are a ton of changes to look out for.
Here are the TTC routes that are experiencing service changes this year
A ton of service adjustments have come to start the new year, intended to improve the reliability of the TTC service routes in the coming months. The following routes have been affected, with the changes implemented on January 8th and 9th:
- 95 York Mills
- Scarborough Line 3, with a bunch of off-shooting routes changing and adding stops as a result of the Go Station relocation
- 996 Wilson Express
- 25 Don Mills
- 19 Bay
- 995 York Mills Express
- 902 Markham Road Express (service increase)
- 939 Finch Express
- 944 Kipling South Express
- 102 Markham Road Express (service increase)
- 960 Steeles West Express
- 945 Kipling Express
- 41 Keele
- 52 Lawrence West (service increase)
- 44 Kipling South (service increase)
- 48 Rathburn (service changes as a result of school trips)
- 113 Danforth (schedule adjustment)
- 60 Steeles West (schedule adjustment)
- 76 Royal York South
- 968 Warden Express
- 925 Don Mills Express
- 20 Cliffside Express
- 112 West Mall
- 130 Middlefield (additional bus trips)

The TTC service on the 86 Scarborough line will also suspend its Sunday and holiday operations, around the Toronto Zoo. Saturday operations will start at 7 p.m. and run until 9:40 p.m. to accommodate Terra Lumina events. The shuttle bus still allows riders to connect with other lines at the Meadowvale Loop as well as the 85 Sheppard East line.
