Since it’s opening back in the Spring of 2015, this establishment in the heart of Bloor-Yorkville, has been a buzzed hotspot for Toronto’s creme de la creme and visiting celebrities and socialites alike. Boasting a sky-high 6000+ sqft rooftop that, IMHO is one of the hottest patios to see and be seen at in Toronto. But come the colder months (that we dread so much), the space just didn’t hold the same weight. Maybe because it was “too private” and dark, that you could look across the room and feel like you were dining alone, or maybe it just lacked a vibe… the reality is, it just didn’t reflect the same oomph, and pizzaz the rooftop did. Well, not for long, if Harlo Entertainment (the same folks behind Parc Ave) has anything to do with it…and now they do, because they recently took ownership of the establishment from the previous ownership group, Chase Hospitality Group.
This is the newly reimagined, Kasa Moto…
Bloor-Yorkville’s esteemed Japanese hotspot, Kasa Moto, never really announced the reimagination of the two-story restaurant, and rode under the radar, while continuing to capitalize on the rooftop patio during the summer months. The restaurant, known for its contemporary Japanese fare, at 115 Yorkville Ave., unveiled their newly designed interior to us, along with some fresh menu offerings and delicious cocktails, Tuesday for a first look ahead of opening their doors to Toronto VIPs and special guests alike for their celebration last night.
Kasa Moto’s new interior now boasts the elevated pizzaz we always expected, much like the patio!

A look inside Kasa Moto’s newly reimagined dining room
As part of the reimagination of Kasa Moto, Harlo Entertainment brought on both Interior Design Studio Iron and Ivory, to work on the redesign, and leading textile designer Candice Kaye Design (who’s work is seen illuminated throughout the space) to elevate and refine the customer dining experience–and that they did!

An upclose look at their picturesque new bar…
Here’s a closer look at their fresh new menu offerings…
As you can see above, not only did the face get a stunning facelift, the culinary team lead by their executive chef, Jia Zou, crafted a new array of Japanese traditional dishes.
The fresh new menu offerings include the restaurant’s first-ever Bento Box Lunch
Program (served daily beginning at 12:00 PM).
Another new addition to the menu is chef’s signature, and might I add stunning, Pork Loin served on a bincho grill. But don’t worry, the grill doesn’t give off heat to avoid the loin from being overcooked, it boasts a specific charcoal that solely gives off a picturesque smoke that also adds this smokey smells and flavour.
Perfect for Instagram, and your tastebuds too.
